netMIND Confirms Smallest Proven Secure Firewall Ready for Market

The unit has been in extensive testing for three years and is sized about the size of a pack of cigarettes. The netMIND Mark III acts as a secure firewall making any computer operating behind it totally impervious to attack through Internet connections. In addition the unit serves as a router for each computer allowing each to communicate with the device to access the Internet through a single connection.

The device supports bandwidths from 56K up to T1 connection and allows up to 1000 users per location and is capable of being certified as ICSA firewall. Russ Dill, the product designer believes the netMind Mark III new smaller design will be in high demand for anyone requiring a secure connection to the Internet as well as in a network environment.

The netMIND VPN option provides secure 512 bit encrypted data tunnel to transfer between remote locations. With a netMIND Mark III at each branch location, it will assure a secure transfer of information through the Internet where it is beneficial to share information between remote locations. The netMIND Mark III is at the home of telecommuters and other employees who need access to the company network from home provides a secure tunnel for safe access.

The netMind Mark III is targeted at all users of the Internet via standard phone lines, DLS, ISDN, Cable or Wireless. The unit will be available for consumer, commercial and private label distribution first quarter 2002
